There are 17,000,000 people in America over 79 years of age – about 5% of the population.
The average age of Covid deaths is 87. And yep a few are younger and some even older, yet only 1.5% of those over 79 will die of COVID-19. Further look at the old-fashioned flu deaths. I am told by firemen who are paramedics that the common Flu deaths are down by 90%. The why is important and smart people will figure it out.
For the rest of you here is the reason. It is because those flu deaths are now listed as COVID-19 deaths rather than the simple flu.
Further, the age group 80 plus is the group I am in, and I do not fear a 1.5% chance of dying from COVID-19. But if I were killed in a car accident or whatever, you can bet it would be listed as a Covid death.

In short, I do not buy the fear mongering. I do not wear a face mask. And more importantly I continue to hug my family and friends.
For Christmas, this year I hosted 30 family members and a few friends of all ages, in my home as in decades past.
Finally, the war we are now engaged in is the common man against powers and principalities – they are the 20th Century version of self-proclaimed Kings of the world. They are the ruling elite and mostly super rich. And as in all of history they are still few and “We the People”, American Patriots, are many. We cannot forget that. And it seems clear patriotic Americans are ready for the fight for our country because we are armed with common sense.
We are Americans and we should act like it.
